Short biography:

Julia Robinson has a BA from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and an MA in English from the Australian National University. She worked as copy editor on The Australian National Dictionary (1988) and now works at the Australian National Dictionary Centre as a researcher and editor. Julia is editor of Voices of Queensland: Words from the Sunshine State (2001), and is currently working on the second edition of The Australian National Dictionary.
