Short biography:

Leena Messina has been employed by the ANU at the Humanities Research Centre since 1991. In that time she has worked in the following positions, Administrative Officer, Director's Secretary, Programs Officer and since 2001 as Programs Manager.

In her current position, Leena is responsible for managing Conferences and Visiting Fellow Programs. Her professional, managerial skills show in her excellent organized conferences and some of the visitors become friends for life. She also has the role of WEB development in her area.

She enjoys meeting the numerous visitors and in her time has met and worked with more than 1100 fellows, visitors and conveners.
